Welcome Freshman Class and Parents
(from Newsletter) Welcome freshman cadets and parents! We are excited to have you here with us. This is an exciting time of the year for the band. Marching band takes dedication and hard work. If you commit yourself 100% and practice due diligence, you will be rewarded. As Tanner stated in his Top 10 Ways Band Prepares Me for Life, awards are earned on the practice field and simply picked up at competition. Keep that in mind during the early morning practices when the director is telling you that "Let’s run through this one more time" for the fifteenth time. Please be looking for a letter from the directors to outline all the band fees. Yes, I said band fees. These fees buy garment bags, shoes, gloves, show t-shirts, meals, and more. We appreciate your help paying these fees in a timely manner. If you have any question please do not hesitate to ask one of the directors or a booster club member. |
Band Boosters Meetings: Second Tuesday each month at 7:00 PM
Location: Band Room (at High School) Occasionally at Sallee Field during the Fall
